Personality:

• Vanessa is often known to be a gossip; a rumormonger if you will. The owl demoness always keeps an ear out for the latest trends, disasters, who’s slept with whom and how different families manage their wealth or lineage.
  
  
• In the ‘business world’, Vanessa is known to be ruthless, ambitious and eerily patient. Somehow she’s always proverbially breathing down the back of someone’s neck if they owed her money.
  
  
• Due to her general infamy, she gets rather lonely for being ‘successful and fierce’. So, finding genuine friends she can trust is hard to come by (let alone romantic endeavors) and has a very tight inner circle whom have come to know another side to the demon where she is capable of compassion, gentleness and loyalty.
  
  
• Secretly a Romantic. Sure, she always says that she has no time for that ‘nonsense’ but deep down she has dreams of being swept off her feet by someone.

Backstory:
Being the sole heir to the affluent Windsorghow Family, Vanessa had been taught at a young age the importance of money, networking and monopolizing the densely overpopulated property market in Hell. Driven with ambition, a slippery silvertongue and often a cutthroat approach to expanding the family fortune, Vanessa has made a name for herself to even be noticed by the fellow ‘Upper Class demons’ she associates with. So much so she managed to not only get in touch with the esteemed Goetia Princess Stella; but also became one of her close friends.



The Windsorghow family is known to come from old money from none other than the Greed Ring; where they are infamous for dominating market of buying and selling houses, mansions and buildings to turn a profit in agreement with other businesses.



Hearing word of the struggles of overpopulation in Hell (particularly the Pride Ring), Vanessa’s golden eyes had set her goals of expansion into the Pride Ring. Demons need places to live after all, so surely she could find a way to purchase apartment blocks and extort the poor tenants with ruthlessly-high rent costs with the promise of keeping them safe and alive from The Purge. As expected, of course, when it came that time of year for The Purge to begin, rent skyrocketed… To make matters worse, demons whom signed contracts with Vanessa have reported that she has an uncanny ability to sniff out demons who owed her money and when she finds them, they either had to pay up or were blackmailed into doing favours for her. Her favourite targets are the recently Fallen and takes advantage of their nativity and fears about being dumped in Hell after death.

• Seer - This is a power Vanessa has only revealed to close friends; she is able to see potential outcomes in the near future. Unfortunately for her, she has yet to hone it in order for it to be reliable predictions or be able to see into the far future.

Trivia:

• Vanessa has admitted once that she is a fan of Velvette and Vox. Every once in a while she likes to drop anonymous, ludicrous amounts of donations to either of them when they are live - be it on a social media platform or broadcasting on television. Mostly because she likes to see Velvette’s reactions or to see if she can have temporary political sway on some television networks in her favor. Unless either one has found out who this regular actually is, she’s currently known to them with the username ‘DazzlingDahlia41’.
• Vanessa is not a fan of the Happy Hotel. Not only does she see it as a passion project doomed to fail and a waste of a whole lot of money, but it also takes away a portion of her clients. How is she supposed to extort the vulnerable when there’s a hotel down the road offering free accommodation to those seeking redemption?!
• She dreams to one day, somehow, network with one of The Seven Deadly Sins.
• On Tuesdays she enjoys recreational wine tasting and attending/betting on horse races in the Wrath Ring.

• Struggles with making genuine connections with demons outside her inner circle without the influences of money or blackmail.
• Whilst Vanessa has wealth and political power in spades, she is actually quite a weak demon and if she’s not careful, can be a vulnerable target. As a result of this and the above mentioned point, she is always conscious of where her body guards are, has developed trust issues and a mild sense of paranoia when out in public spaces.
