Personality: Despite his enthusiastic and chummy demeanor, Alastor makes no efforts to hide his sadism and love for cruelty. He lives only to seek out new and fresh forms of entertainment, which nearly always takes the form of the physical and emotional suffering of others. He considers himself an artist of sorts, always experimenting with new and novel ways of inflicting pain and despair.
He does, however, have a strange code of honor that only he truly understands. He also enjoys the simple pleasures of the afterlife and appreciates class and politeness in others. He does have the capacity to care for others in his own twisted way, though that rarely spares them from his sadistic sense of humor or manipulating them to his own ends.
Alastor is always wearing a maniacal grin, feeling that showing pain, anger, or sorrow is a sign of weakness. While he is brutally honest he is loath to allow others to know his true feelings on any matter, masking it with his perpetual manic energy.

History: Alastor was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he made his living as a popular radio host. He frequently covered the numerous murders of the mysterious Le Bourreou, who would leave his victims in gruesome mockeries of Voodoo rituals. Little did his listeners know that he was in fact the notorious killer, a secret he took with him to his grave when he perished in an incident he rarely speaks of.
Upon entering Hell, Alastor took to it like a duck to water, especially once the numerous sacrifices to and deals with the Kriyel-Ghede Loa he paid tribute to paid off, granting him enormous magical power. Power enough to continue his killing spree and theatrical mayhem into the afterlife, wielding nearly as much power as the Overlords themselves.
After many years of wanton mayhem, however, Alastor has found himself in a bit of a rut. He no longer feels the same satisfaction in his “art” that he once did, having become dulled to the senseless violence and torture of Hell. Now he seeks new ways to amuse himself, particularly in witnessing the antics of Hell’s own princess and aiding her endeavors. After all, the fall is so much more amusing from greater heights…

-Hoodoo Magics: In life, Alastor plumbed the depths of the absolute darkest side of the Voodoo faith and its arcane counterpart, Hoodoo. Loa left ignored and forgotten to time heeded his call, granting him a vast array of magic now that he is in the spirit world and a plethora of Kriyel-Ghede servants.

-Alchemy: Alastor is skilled at crafting magical potions and salves with a variety of effects. This can range from curing illness to inflicting curses.

However, the loa granting his power still require tribute, though he is an expert at haggling with them. Though he hides this fact, he must frequently make blood sacrifices (sometimes even his own) or otherwise pacify the loa to secure their service..
- Summoning: Alastor can call forth a number of ghede spirits, such as small creatures of stitched shadow or monstrous spectral snakes. These spirits can possess things like dolls or animals as well. Even his shadow has been animated, able to interact with the world on his behalf. Additionally, Alastor can tear open small holes between Hell and other, more esoteric dimensions, allowing shadowy tendrils, giant skeletal loa hands, and other such monsters to smite his enemies. .
- Teleportation: Alastor can teleport himself, other demons, or objects long distances. He can pull or send things from nearly anywhere in the city, as well as turn doorways and the like into temporary portals to other locations.
- Transmogrification: Alastor can temporarily alter the physical state of objects and demons, such as altering clothes, changing images or writing, and even changing the appearance of himself and other demons.
-Radio Control: Alastor can control radio waves in a very large radius around himself. This allows him to project his voice through any receiver using his cane, as well as intercept radio transmissions using his antlers as antennae.
-Monstrous Form: While Alastor is normally not very tough or strong, when the situation calls for it he can transform himself, increasing his size and strength considerably. While still quite fragile, he has wicked claws and vicious teeth more than capable of rending flesh and bone.
